3-Touch Sequence
Level sends up to three WhatsApp messages per abandoned cart, spaced over hours. Each touch uses a different template.
Touch 1 — Reminder
- When: After the cart reaches minimum age (default 1 hour)
- Template: Abandoned cart reminder
- Content: Product reminder with recovery link — no discount
- Category: Marketing
Touch 2 — Nudge or offer
- When: Hours after touch 1 (default 24 hours; set to 0 to disable)
- Template: Nudge (no discount) or Offer (with discount)
- Content: Depends on discount settings
- Category: Marketing
Touch 3 — Final
- When: Hours after touch 1 (default 48 hours; set to 0 to disable)
- Template: Abandoned cart final
- Content: Last reminder with recovery link
- Category: Marketing
- Condition: Only sent if cart is still open
Timing rules
- Touch 2 and 3 delays are measured from touch 1’s send time
- Carts older than max age (default 72 hours) are skipped entirely
- Each touch requires an approved template assigned in Message flows
Skip conditions
A touch is skipped if the cart is:
- Already completed or recovered
- Missing a phone number or recovery URL
- Outside the send window
- Blocked by marketing opt-out or frequency cap
