Reconnect Shopify

If Shopify disconnects, Level stops syncing orders and sending COD verifications until you reconnect.

How you’ll know

  • Dashboard banner: “Shopify is disconnected — Reconnect in Integrations”
  • Email alert: Shopify disconnected notification (if enabled)
  • New COD orders don’t appear in Level
  • Abandoned cart sync stops

How to reconnect

  1. Open Integrations  in the Level app
  2. Click Reconnect Shopify (or reinstall from the Shopify App Store )
  3. Approve the permissions prompt in Shopify Admin
  4. Confirm the disconnected banner disappears

After reconnecting

  • Order sync resumes automatically via webhooks
  • Pending verifications for recent orders may need a manual resend
  • Abandoned cart polling resumes within minutes

Preventing disconnects

Common causes of disconnection:

  • App uninstalled or permissions revoked in Shopify Admin
  • Store transferred to a new Shopify account
  • Expired or invalid access token (reconnect fixes this)
