Install from Shopify

Install Level from the Shopify App Store and connect your store in a few minutes.

Before you start

• You need Shopify admin access to install apps
• Level works with development stores and live stores (billing behavior differs — see Dev vs live store)

Steps

1. Install the app

1. Open the Level app on the Shopify App Store 
2. Click Install and approve the requested permissions
3. You’ll be redirected to app.uselevel.ai  to complete setup

2. Sign in and create your account

On first login, Level creates your team and links your Shopify store. If you already have an account, sign in and connect the store.

3. Open the dashboard

After install, you land on the Dashboard. Place a test COD order to confirm verification triggers — see First COD verification.

Required Shopify permissions

Level needs access to orders, customers, products, and checkouts to verify COD orders, sync abandoned carts, and apply tags. See Required permissions for details.

Verify it worked

• Your store appears in the app header team/store switcher
• No Shopify disconnected banner on the dashboard
• A test COD order shows as Pending under COD verification 

Troubleshooting

• Redirect fails after install — Try installing again from the App Store while logged into the correct Shopify admin
• Store already connected — Contact support  if the store is linked to another account
