Order Statuses

Every COD order in Level has a status that reflects the verification state.

Awaiting reply

The default state after a verification message is sent. The order stays pending until the customer responds, a reminder is sent (Starter+), or auto-cancel runs.

You can resend verification for awaiting orders.

Verified

Customer confirmed they want the order. Use the level-cod-verified tag in Shopify to filter orders ready for fulfillment. See Shopify tags.

Cancelled

The customer declined, or Level auto-cancelled after the configured timeout (Starter+). The Shopify order is cancelled so you don’t ship unintentionally.

Couldn’t reach

WhatsApp could not deliver to the number on the order. Common causes: wrong number, landline, or no WhatsApp account. See Unreachable numbers.

Blocked by limit

On the Free plan, new verifications are blocked when the 50-message monthly cap is reached. Upgrade or wait for the next cycle.

Prepaid conversion (optional)

When Convert COD to prepaid is enabled, confirmed COD orders can also show a prepaid offer status on the order detail page:
