Assign Templates
Each automated WhatsApp event needs an approved template assigned before messages can send.
Steps
- Open Integrations → Message flows
- For each event (COD verification, abandoned cart reminder, etc.):
- Select an approved template from the dropdown
- Confirm variables are mapped (click Map variables if needed)
- Click Save flows

- Thank you template (optional)
- Cancel template (optional)
- COD reminder template (Starter+)
Abandoned cart (Starter+)
- Abandoned cart reminder (touch 1)
- Abandoned cart nudge or offer (touch 2)
- Abandoned cart final (touch 3)
Campaigns (Starter+)
- Campaign broadcast template
Shared number
Templates are pre-assigned for shared-number merchants. You can view assignments but not change them. Upgrade to Pro + BYO for full control.
Troubleshooting
If messages aren’t sending, check:
- Template status is Approved (not pending or rejected)
- Variables are mapped for all placeholders
- Flow is saved after changes
