BYO Setup

Bring Your Own (BYO) lets Pro and Agency merchants send messages from their own WhatsApp Business number instead of Level’s shared number.

Requirements

• Pro or Agency plan
• A Meta Business Manager account
• A phone number eligible for WhatsApp Business API

Setup steps

1. Open Integrations  in the Level app
2. Click Connect your WhatsApp
3. Complete the Meta Embedded Signup popup (keep the tab open until redirect completes)
4. Once connected, messages send from your number

During setup

While setup is incomplete, you’ll see “Your number — not finished yet” and messages continue from Level’s shared number.

Available actions:

• Finish connecting — Resume the Meta signup flow
• Disconnect your WhatsApp — Remove connection, fall back to shared
• Cancel and use Level’s number only — Clear stale setup data

After setup

• Messages send from your connected number only — no fallback to shared
• You manage your own templates in WhatsApp template manager
• Configure Message flows per store
• Meta invoices your WhatsApp Business Account directly for conversation fees
