Upgrade / Downgrade

Plan changes are handled through Shopify billing. Open Billing in app.uselevel.ai .

Upgrade

1. Click Upgrade on the plan you want
2. Shopify prompts you to approve the new charge
3. New features unlock immediately after approval
4. Click Refresh status if the plan doesn’t update right away

Downgrade

1. Click Switch to Free (or a lower plan)
2. Confirm in Shopify Admin
3. Features above the new plan’s tier are disabled
4. Existing data (orders, carts) is preserved

Proration

Shopify handles proration automatically. You may see a credit for unused time on your current plan and a charge for the new plan.

Development stores

Development (trial) stores can only use Free plan features. Paid charges are test-only and don’t process real payments.

When your dev store goes live, you’ll see a banner prompting you to choose a paid plan — test subscriptions don’t carry over.
