Verification Not Triggering
If a COD order doesn’t appear in Level or no verification is sent, work through these checks.
1. Is the order COD?
Level only verifies Cash on Delivery orders. Check in Shopify Admin:
- Payment method shows COD, Cash on Delivery, or similar
- Financial status is pending (not paid/refunded)
- Order is not cancelled

2. Is verification enabled?
Open COD verification → Settings. Ensure Verification on is active.
3. Is Shopify connected?
Look for a disconnected banner on the dashboard. If present, reconnect Shopify.
4. Does the order have a phone number?
Verification requires a mobile number. Check shipping address, billing address, or customer record in Shopify.
5. Message limit reached?
Free plan stops at 50 messages/month. Check the dashboard for “Included messages used up.” Upgrade or wait for next cycle.
6. Order already tagged?
If Shopify already has level-cod-verified or level-cod-cancelled, Level won’t re-send.
7. Wait a minute
Webhook processing takes up to 60 seconds. Refresh the COD verification page.
